The quartz glass is rated for a long-term use temperature of up to 1100 °C. For short-term applications, it can withstand temperatures up to 1300 °C, making it suitable for high-temperature industrial environments.
The quartz glass is made from Silicon Dioxide (SiO₂) sourced from natural quartz. It is transparent or colorless, with a surface free of air bubbles and lines, ensuring excellent optical clarity and structural integrity.
The quartz glass is available in a thickness range of 2 mm to 20 mm, with a circular shape. Custom dimensions can typically be arranged based on specific application requirements.
The quartz glass features an extremely low thermal expansion coefficient of 5.5 × 10⁻⁷ cm/cm·°C. This ultra-low expansion rate makes it highly resistant to thermal shock and ideal for precision applications involving rapid temperature changes.
The quartz glass is available in controlled purity grades of 10 PPM, 20 PPM, and 100 PPM. Higher purity grades (lower PPM) are recommended for semiconductor manufacturing and other applications that demand minimal contamination.
The quartz glass has a compressive strength of 1100 MPa and a Mohs hardness of 5.5 to 6.5. Combined with a Young's Modulus of 72,000 MPa, these properties ensure excellent mechanical durability and resistance to deformation under load.
